Michael's background
The journey started in Albury with top trainer Rob Wellington where he spent eight years, before moving to Wagga for the majority of his riding career. He was able to ride for many of the top trainers of the area over the years.
In the last two years of his riding Michael took on the role of a duel licence holder where he was able to both ride and train horses and became the first in NSW to train and ride a winner with Estaverdi at Gundagai.
